My Chaotic Realm

Well, Agathos was a hungry python Friday... ate that little mouse rather quickly Friday morning, then cozied right up behind his little tree & has been snoozing ever since...lot of work, digesting a mouse, I guess. We took a nap after work Friday until about 7:30pm then packed like fools until 11pm, showered, then headed to see Enigma for dinner around midnight. Back at it today ... the laundry room after the laundry is caught up. Gentleman from Devine will be picking up dryer as new home is all electric. Enigma's son is getting the washer (house comes with W/D). Saves us from moving those puppies down the stairs, thank the goddess! All of living room is packed except for TV stuff on entertainment center, Lizzie & Agathos. Can't box them up!! Kitchen gets packed today except for basics, like coffeepot, cereal bowls, etc. Son's bathroom already done... now if I could just get him to clean it. Sigh. Our closet is next, except for a few outfits for work next week.

Well...we started the packing last night... living room is full of boxes !! We packed until we ran out of them and out of space. Then we went over to the house in the dark, without the boxes . It was WAY too late. But we wanted to make sure that A} we could find the place in the dark, and B} the lights lining the driveway worked. Yes, and Yes, thankfully! But we are thinking about getting reflective frogs for the mailbox and fenceposts so others will spot us as they cres tthe hill, make it a bit easier on everyone. When Spirit is off work, she'll go load up boxes and haul them over, then when I get home I'll go help her pack another load and we'll load that one up as well. :-) The move is on!

Agathos has eaten! Got him to eat his first mouse yesterday!! Not first ever, but first from me... his handler had fed him before when you only eat once a week.... sheesh! Anyway, 1st attempt on Saturday was not successful, but Sunday was. Still not quite into the proper technique as he did not constrict around it as quickly as he might should have had it been live prey... but oh well, it is a learning experience for us both. I thought he did rather well for such a young tyke! I took pictures of him wandering across the patio as well as tacking his meal "at home" :-) Speaking of "home"...we sign the lease on the new place today, move in on the 29th of this month!! We can actually start moving little stuff in as soon as this week. They are finishing kitchen floor (new tile) and middle bedroom (pulling up carpet, putting down Pergo) and end bedroom (repainting) so we can start moving into master bed/bathroom and start storing stuff in that end of home.
