OK, now it is TGIF!!

Tomorrow is the women's campout... gonna be 8 of us in a screened-in shelter @ McKinney Falls... what fun! Spirit & I went shopping last night for graham crackers, marshmallows and Hershey bars! Gotta have campfire smores or you just aren't camping, ya know. Will be nice to get away... work is picking up (that time of year) so I have actually had to WORK at work :-) We have to come back into town to take care of the dragons, but Peace has volunteered to be taught the ins and outs of dragon care, so will meet us at the house to learn the drill so can feed them Sunday for us...save us another trip in & back out to campsite. While the lights are automatic, they do not always come on. For instance, this morning Luna's heat lamp was out... toast. Replaced it with a spare. And the greens do not cut themselves up & climb into the habitats. .. the crickets might...LMAO. Whilst we were shopping last night, picked up a jar of mango baby food and another of checken w

Like I've not enough to do...

A group of gals I know is going to start a group working from the book "A Course in Miracles" and has asked me to join. I did. Saturday I worked...and I mean actual "work", not just the act of being present. Grrrr. There should be a law, I tell ya! Got all the monthly statements printed, folded, stuffed & stamped... about 400 of 'em! Then to Energy's house for art.... was scheduled 1-4pm but we were having so much fun we did not start wrapping it up until around 5pm. Course, by then it was too late to go get a replacement phone for Spirit, because the phone place closed @ 6pm and we got there @ 6:02pm... so we went to Hobby Lobby and spent almost 3 hours looking for stuff to accomplish the ideas that came to us during our art session. I am intent on scrapbooking Rebel's birth thru graduation in one, my concert tickets & mementos in another, and then one of just general shots of Rebel that Granny sent to me from summers past. Sunday we
