My Chaotic Realm

Well, change of plans.. Mom needs some help getting things ready for her HH party Monday 12/18 so Spirit & I will be heading to Bandera this Sunday rather than next Saturday. Which leaves next weekend with a free day :-) Maybe the Armadillo Bazaar? Spirit has never been & Energy is also wanting to go... maybe make a day of it, who knows. Tomorrow is the annual "Family dinner" in New Braunfels and the time has been bumped up so the family could go to another family party (a birthday one) afterwards. So no scrapping unless we do it this evening, but I FINALLY got the DVD I was waiting on ... Joseph Campbell's " The Power of Myth ". Maybe we can fit it in on Saturday after the dinner, or Sunday after Bandera...stay tuned. Peace is planning on coming over for some scrapping time on Saturday the 23rd now that we are going to Bandera a week early. I COULD wait until then...but I don't wanna... LMAO

Well, the new moon is the evening before Yule/Winter Solstice...with so much already on our plates we've decided to let it pass without a public ritual event. We are hosting the celebration for Yule Thursday sunset to Friday sunup. That is enough for now. Plus we've got a busy rest of the year lined up: visiting the inlaws this Saturday for the annual "holiday dinner" and then next weekend is the folks on Saturday, the brother on Sunday, the full moon on January 3rd (see link above)... we stay pretty busy with the moons, RCGi and our "Year & A Day"studies... Not much to add today since yesterday was a wee bit of a wash...computer system was down from 1pm yesterday...finally got it working again around 9am this morning. did 2 deposits today, posted the meetup during my lunch hour, checked my emails... sigh..... so much AT HOME to do tho... 4 ATCs to KFlora, 3 swaps on "Fun With ATCs" group, and several pending swaps due on Nervousne

Well.. Saturday was chock full of family. Rebel & GF came over but had to leave before twin & his crew arrived. Vewry nice...and the kiddos got to meet all the babies.... all but the 2 that arrived today. You see, there was a reptile expo in RoundRock today10-5pm... and we had a baby shower to go to from 1-3pm that was in Cedar Park... so we sorta went early. :-) Even managed to fit in a visit to the Candle Factory (Spirit has never been). Course, had to carry Dionysus & Diana in with us... too cold to leave them in the car. And we ahd a valid reason for the expo...needed rats for the pythons...feeding days are the 10th, 20th & 30th and they were HUNGRY!! Somehow, as we were getting ready to leave, disappointed at not finding any Uromastyx's, we found them. Right by the exit, no less... ALMOST made it out of there ALONE. But, well, it IS the season for giving... Yule is right around the corner...and what better gift to give than the one that lasts and lasts and
