Saturday, in the park...

Congrats! Don't know to whom since this card is still in inventory. Let's see... DSP, some dimensional adhesive that I sprinkled blue glitter onto & let dry, stamped the sentiment on cardstock & then cut out. Punched photo corners on the same color CS and inserted sentiment. :-) So now, off to Springfest !!

T G I F y'all!

Background is stationery. Letters are chipboard colored w/ink to match the image. Image is a stamp done in versamark then embossed with a pinkish EP. Then I took ink on a sponge (Tim Holtz' distress ink in denim) and rubbed over the image. So, today I opened a bank account for my card business. "cards by chaotic" now banks @ Pioneer Bank! Also, most of the cards you see here are for sale, if I have not already sold them OR mailed them off to a friend. :-)

and the beat goes on....

This is the last of the Father's Day cards, I think... except for one I am going to make for my Dad. Right now, I am trying to get more (not Dad's Day) made for the Springfest this weekend... got 4 done last night, will start some card bases/backgrounds while on lunch today... we shall see. The 4 I made last night were done using the scrap bin. Time to thin it a bit, it was getting considerably heavy and sits on a shelf not prepared for that. This card is a photo, aged, and sentiment was stamped on paper that had been aged using a Tim Holtz' distress ink pad. Gave Pops a hanky with a white gel pen. :-)

one passing, one arrival

Vesta passed sometime during the night. She is the lighter colored rat in the forefront. Short lives, really.... rats have about a 2-3 year expectancy. Sigh. And, last night, a stray kitten ended up in the drainage ditch before the storm...could not very well leave it there, so it is ensconced in the guest bathroom (where is it mewling LOUDLY and driving the rest of our residents NUTS). Anyone need a kitten? Absolutely adorable... but we are "AT CAPACITY"!!!

Super Trooper lights are gonna find me

Ah yes, still working on the Dad's Day cards... I guess I should probably start working on the one I will be sending my dad! So, watched Mamma Mia again with some friends, including one that had not yet seen it. We sang! We laughed! A lovely way to watch the box, I must say! This card is just a classic clip art picture, matted on whiet CS then black CS and put on a gray cardbase. The sentiment is done in white gel ink on black CS. :-)

If I could walk on water...

Father's Day is just around the corner, and with that in mind I created some cards for the occasion. PLum blossom on post it photo paper, stickers, a glittered die cut.
